Shipping: We pride ourselves in speedy yet careful packing and shipping of all orders. We've heard again and again the excited surprise from our customers about how quickly their packages of geocaching goodies have arrived. We also like to keep you apprised of your order status. Here is what our 'order status' means (our system will send out emails to you as your order moves through different statuses):
- Authorized –we have your order information - In Packing –we are packing your order - In Shipping –your order is packed and waiting to be picked up by the shipper (USPS or UPS) - Shipped –your order has shipped and is on its way!! - Hold-Backorder -an item in your order is currently out of stock - In Production -your Special Order is being collected and then will be produced in our next production round - Waiting -check is in the mail -just that: we are waiting for your payment to arrive and will ship once all is cleared - Completed -your order is completed and needs no further action from us. We use both USPS and UPS for all of our shipping. You can select which carrier and service at checkout, with all of the prices displayed. We strive for same-day or next-day shipping for all orders, and we'll keep you informed when your order goes to packing, shipping and then when it has shipped. Drop us a note if you would like any tracking information, and we'll forward that on.
We do reserve the right to change your shipping carrier if we believe that the other can offer better and/or faster service in a particular instance. For example, we have on occasion used UPS Ground instead of USPS Parcel Post, as UPS offers faster arrival times and tracking services.
International Shipments: For all International shipments, Cache
Advance will not be held responsible or liable for any
problems that result at your local customs office. If
customs duties are assessed, these are in addition to
your shipping charges and must be paid directly by you.
No refunds will be given for items that are seized at
your local customs office. Cache Advance will not be
held liable for any customs duties or taxes that arise
from your local customs office. Cache Advance will also
not be held responsible for any additional fee the local
carrier in your country may charge.
Handling Fee: We do charge a $0.95 handling fee on every order in the US to help cover the costs of our 'Green' packing materials and time spent carefully packaging every order. We keep packaging to a minimum and use environmentally friendly packaging materials whenever possible. For orders outside of the US, our handling fee is $3.00.
Caching or Visiting in Spokane?: The Cache Cave is open by appointment for browsing, shopping or just talking caching! Just drop us an email or call to set up your appointment.
If you are in the Spokane area or are passing through
and would like to pick up your order directly, you can
order from our site and select "Will Pickup
$0.00" for your shipping method at checkout and there will be no shipping
charges. Please specify that you would like to pick up your
order and we'll contact you for a convenient time and send you
coordinates...er...our address. |
