Cache CaveYes, it is true, we have opened the second only brick and mortar geocaching store in the US!

The Cache Cave is a great place to visit to learn all about Geocaching. We have a showroom stocked full of great geocaching gear, such as containers, geocoins, Travel Bugs®, GPS units and much more.

We are also available for geocaching classes, tours, and we're happy to answer any geocaching questions -except puzzle solutions!

Store Hours:
Fridays 2pm - 7pm
Saturdays 10am - 2pm

All other hours by appointment.

As many of you know, our team is often at the Cave assembling and shipping orders, so please do feel free to make an appointment if these hours don't meet your needs!!

Welcome to the Inland Empire Chapter's third Friday night Movie at the Cave.
So we know that Leap Year was actually last year and the next one isn't until 2020; however, we didn't want to wait that long to show this movie. So, we are going to show it on February 24, 2017, instead. It's a great romantic comedy if you like that type of thing. In any case, we hope you will come, as you never know we might have door prizes!
We will provide the popcorn and soda. Please feel free to bring snacks and chairs to share.

What to Bring: your laptop, GPSrs and cables if you have them. We'll take some time to delve deeper into GSAK to learn:
How to do advanced geocache loading.Log caches through GSAK -especially nice for power runs!How to install and run macros -including group caching!Don't forget your laptop, power cable, GPSr and its cable too!

Class will be led by MntGoat50, Blue Meanie, and Kidvegas19. You will come away from this class with the confidence to load and log caches as well as manage GSAK. See you there!

Gotta Log 'Em All

We know you have a hidden stash of geo-coins, tags and other trackable items. We want you to bring them all to show off to others in the area. Spike's has reserved us a room with lots of space and tables, so bring your whole collection of Trackables for discover and moving. If you have a list of your Trackables and codes please bring for others to discover.
All ages are welcome, please include the number of people in your will attend so Spikes can appropriately staff.

Quad Cities II Cache Machine & Dinner

Dinner will be at 7:00 PM on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Rancho Viejo, 170 S Grand Ave, Pullman. The coordinates are listed above. I expect we'll end around 9:00 PM.

Please log a "will attend" as soon as you know you'll be there. I'd like to give the restaurant an idea of how many of us will be there before we all show up.

The Trouble with Harry (Movie at the Cave)

Welcome to the Inland Empire Chapter's forth Friday night Movie at the Cave. This month we've teamed up with Mr & Mrs Parts to show a movie from 1955.
We don't want to give the movie away; however, it's listed as being the story is about how the residents of a small Vermont village react when the dead body of a man named Harry is found on a hillside. It's billed as being a Mystery/Comedy and it's from the great Alfred Hitchcock, so it shouldn't disappoint.
We will provide the popcorn and soda. Please feel free to bring snacks and chairs to share.

May 20  Colville, Wa
*~The Fifth Edition~* (With D'Dawg & RMB)

When: 9:00 A.M. Welcome session! Challenge booklets (tracking sheets) and coordinates will be distributed!)

5:00 PM: Event Wrap Up (Final prizes awarded for the days' challenges!)

Where: Colville City Park. Day-long home base for the challenges scattered throughout the area.
Lunch will be served as well, so you have nothing to lose!
D'Dawg and RobotMonkeyBoy have a fantastic journey in mind for those that would be up to delivering sweet justice to the lands surrounding Colville. Those of you who have done this quest before will recognize the x-static nature with which D'Dawg and RobotMonkeyBoy dish out their arsenal of creativity.  Those who haven't are in for one cuckoo of a time.
Even if you are unable to, due to desire, time constraints, or physical limitations, take off for parts unknown to secure extra smiles on the day, we would still love to see you! So please come and join the fun, we would love to see anyone and everyone, and we will be here from 9am to 5pm!

Tri-Cities 2017 Geocoin Challenge

When: Thursday, June 22 ~ Lab Cache Kick-Off TBD, Friday, June 23 ~ Meet & Greet, Saturday 6:00-9:00pm, June 24 ~ Kick-Off Event 8am-8pm, Sunday, June 25 ~ CITO & Breakfast Event 9am-12pm.
Where: Sacajawea State Park, near Pasco, Wa
Tri-Cities Geocoin Challenge takes geocachers around all four of our cities exploring new locations while finding newly placed geocaches. After finding all required geocaches and completing the passport you will earn this year's 2017 geocoin set. 
  • Free, family friendly weekend for new and experienced geocachers.
  • Travel around Tri-Cities (including West Richland) to find approximately 28 geocaches and earn a trackable geocoin. *One per house hold only.
  • Those who complete the challenge will receive a free geocoin. Coin details in progress.
  • Kids (13 and under) who complete the challenge will receive a prize.

Going Ape 2017

Where: Hyak trailhead in Iron Horse State Park at Snoqualmie Pass
The Pacific Northwest is THE destination for geocachers on the third weekend of August - International Geocaching Weekend - and WSGA hopes you will join us for our 8th annual Going APE mega-event.
We're a low-key mega: no formal activities, no group photo, and no vendors. This is all about a fun day in the beautiful Cascade Mountains with good friends, a spooky tunnel, and some geocaching. 
Attend this event, and you'll receive the Mega event icon plus a Souvenir created specifically for this event.
Hike or bike through the Snoqualmie Tunnel. This 100-year-old railroad tunnel is 2.3 miles long, pitch dark, and a chilly 50F degrees.
